In the past few years, there has been an increase in pirate attacks in the Arabian Sea, Gulf of Aden. Many times they have attacked the target ships of different countries. To prevent such attacks, several countries, including the United States and China, have started anti-piracy operations in international waters. India is also in that list. Naval warships are acting as vigilantes to maintain free trade and freedom of navigation in the blue waters.
