With this win, Gujarat Titans moved straight from eighth place to sixth place in the points table. Rahul Tewatia played like a one man army in this match.

He almost single-handedly turned the game around. Tewatia scored an unbeaten 36 off 18 balls. He led Gujarat to a four-wicket victory.
Chasing the target of 143 runs, Gujarat Titans got a boost from the opening pair of Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill. Both put on a 66-run partnership for the first wicket.
Wriddhiman Saha was dismissed for 13 and skipper Gill returned to the pavilion with 35 off 29 balls. Saha had Arshdeep Singh caught by Ashutosh Sharma. Gil Kagiso caught by Liam Livingstone off Rabada’s over.

Punjab Kings, who have been the worst in the Powerplay this season, also got off to a slow start. After that they ended the innings with 142 runs as they lost wickets regularly.
