At present, according to the report last week, the number of dengue affected people in the district is around 29 people. The number of dengue patients is increasing in various places of the district including West Midnapore. The number of dengue cases is increasing due to stagnant water and people’s unawareness. But how will this dengue attack be stopped? What kind of measures need to be taken in case of dengue patient was brought up in detail by the eminent doctor and Narayangarh Block Health Officer Dr. Ashish Mandal.

Doctors give several suggestions including keeping the surroundings of the area clean and not allowing stagnant water to remain in the ground during the rainy season. Besides, if someone is suffering from dengue, he advised to go to the nearest health centre. Naturally there is no fear of dengue, its cure is possible with proper treatment, said doctor Ashish Mandal.
