A few days ago, Singapore’s Food Safety Department brought a deadly charge against India’s spice manufacturer Everest. The company’s popular ‘Phys Curry’ spice has been found to contain dangerous levels of pesticides. Due to which the Singapore government issued a statement to stop the import of spices from India. Another Indian spice manufacturer, MDH, has also been accused of mixing harmful ingredients. After this news came to light, the EU’s food safety department conducted tests on Indian food products.
