Dragging something to search next to Google Lens in Chrome works without interrupting whatever users are viewing on their screen. Users can easily search for an image like this while watching a video, live-streaming or browsing a website. Users will also be able to find answers to their questions in their tabs and search using the information found in the results as needed.
How to use the new feature –
Users can start dragging this search option on Chromebooks by clicking on the latest Google Lens icon found in the address bar next to the bookmark star. Windows and Mac users don’t get the Google Lens option in the address bar, an overflow menu can be found there.

When users go to the “drag to search” tab next to the lens icon, the cursor will take the shape of a crosshair. Users can double-click the box to select the ability to change. Users will see the results displayed in the Google Lens side panel.
