Chinese tech giant OnePlus is set to launch its first foldable smartphone next month. OnePlus had officially announced earlier this year that their first foldable smartphone would be launched this year. According to the latest information, OnePlus is expected to officially launch its first V Fold smartphone on August 29. SmartPrix reports that the OnsePlus V Fold phone may be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor clocked at 3.36 GHz coupled with 16 GB of RAM. Tipster Max Jambor has confirmed that OnePlus’ foldable smartphone will be launched at a physical event in New York on August 29. It is being launched a month after the launch of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5.

The OnsePlus V Fold design was leaked last month. According to that information, the upcoming OnePlus folding phone is expected to have a notebook-like form factor, much like the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Google Pixel Fold.
Several reports also claim that the OnePlus V Fold is expected to feature a 6.3-inch AMOLED FHD+ covered display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It may feature a 7.8-inch foldable AMOLED display with Quad HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate.

OnePlus’ first foldable phone is expected to feature a 48 MP primary sensor along with an ultra-wide sensor and a 64 MP telephoto camera. Also, the device may have a 20 MP camera for selfies and video calls and a 32 MP front-facing camera.
OnePlus’ foldable phone is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor clocked at 3.36GHz, coupled with 16GB of RAM. It may come with a 4,805 mAh battery. It can support 67W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
