NEPAL PLANE CRASH : A major plane crash has occurred at the airport of Nepal’s capital Kathmandu. According to information, a Saurya Airlines plane crashed while taking off from Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport on Wednesday morning. There were 19 people including the crew on board the plane, out of which 5 have died. The rescue team has recovered the bodies of the five passengers. After the accident, a cloud of smoke was seen in the sky.
Plane skidded on the runway
It is being told that many people are reported to be injured in the plane crash. The pilot of the plane, Captain Shakya, has been taken to the hospital for treatment. According to Kathmandu Post, airport sources have told that while the plane was taking off, it slipped from the runway and this big accident happened. The plane was going from Kathmandu to Pokhara. It is said that after the accident, a huge fire broke out in the plane. The firefighters had to work hard to extinguish it.
Nepal Army was sent to the spot
After receiving information about the incident, the Nepal government has sent the army to the accident site for relief and rescue work. Medical and army troops are engaged in relief and rescue work.
