He won a silver medal in one and a bronze medal in one. Rana Hossain said, “I used to learn karate while studying. Wanted since then. Later I started body building training. It feels good to get success at the national level, I want to play at the international level in the future. I have already started preparing for that.

But generally there is not much interest in bodybuilding competitions. He thinks that the success of Rana Hossain will increase the interest in body building among other youths. Rana Hossain is a resident of Kotabari in Maldah city. Father is a vegetable seller by profession. So maybe body building training was not taken from a very young age even if you wanted to.

After completing his college studies, he started his own mobile repairing business. He started body building training since then. Currently opened a small bodybuilding training center in his home. He also trained there. However, he is currently undergoing regular training with renowned bodybuilding trainer Rabindranath Pramanik of Kolkata. Dada Bhulu Sheikh said, I always stay by my brother’s side. When it is needed, we try to give it. His dream has come true. I wish to reach a better place in the future.

This national level bodybuilding competition was held in Jaipur, Rajasthan last March 8 and 9. Rana participated in two categories there. Succeeded in both. There are international level bodybuilding competitions in the future. He wants to participate there. So he has started training now to compete at the international level.
