According to FBR calculations, more than five lakh citizens in Pakistan have taxable income, but none of them filed income tax in 2023. The government of Pakistan wants to send a message to the people by stopping these 5,06,671 SIM cards so that the lower class citizens also file income tax this time and be transparent about their income to the government of Pakistan.
