Calcutta: Kolkata-Bangladesh Air Service is slowly on the way to normal. A flight from Bangladesh landed in Kolkata late last night, carrying only a small number of passengers, later returned as scheduled. Biman Bangladesh Airlines reached Kolkata at 8:22 am today Tuesday. That plane will depart from Kolkata to Bangladesh again in a while. However, the number of passengers is somewhat less.

Air India has already canceled all flights to Bangladesh. However, the airline said that cancellation fee will be charged to the passengers who had booked the tickets.

According to Air India, all Dhaka-bound flights have been canceled due to the turbulent situation in Bangladesh. But not Air India alone, Vistara is another airline on their way. The official X handle has informed that the decision to cancel the flight to Bangladesh has been made. Vistara’s flight services will be temporarily suspended for the time being. In addition, Indigo Airlines also said that their aircraft will not fly to Bangladesh for the time being.
